• We would like to inform you that we have selected a contractor in another tender for the maintenance and development of the National Access Point. The contract is a continuation of the current NAP service, which is used to transmit road data through a single nationwide access point that can be used directly by road administrators, the media, services and travel information providers.

The contractor, Matic S.A., will continue to maintain the KPD service for 24 months from 15 December 2022 (and for up to 36 months if GDDKiA exercises its option right) and will implement modifications to the system as part of its development work.

The system modifications are expected to include, among other things, the expansion of the obstruction map with the addition of a search engine by road number and kilometre marker, as well as the addition of a new layer with GDDKiA Road Information Points. The mobile version of the map will also gain a new functionality – locating the map user by GPS coordinates.

In addition, the option right provides for the modification of the KPD by:
    • migrating the current DATEX II v 2.3 data format to the newer DATEX II v 3.3 version.
    • adding a new data exchange standard – DATEX II Light based on the JASON format.
